21 April. So today I did my first swim! Headed over to Grasmere with Gemma as a swimmer and Amy and Ryan paddling as support boats. Thanks guys! It was a great day, a lovely way to start my challenge. Pretty cold at first but we actually got used to it pretty quickly. It was a day of firsts – Gemma’s first wild swim, Amy’s first time out in her new boat and Ryan’s first time in the Lake District… and of course the first swim of my ‘Swimming the Lakes’ challenge! I’m now really looking forward to all the others, very excited! Thank you so much Gemma, Amy and Ryan, it was great having you there, I hope you had fun.
