I grew up in Derby, but spent a lot of my 20s living in the Lake District. I now live in the North Pennines working at an activity centre for children.
During my time living in the Lake District I did quite a lot of wild swimming and really enjoyed it. I’m not a particularly fast swimmer, although I would say I’m reasonably strong and experienced. This challenge feels like a great way to explore new places whilst doing something I love.
